Fall Gardening 101

Hey Basil Fam,

I hope you're having a wonderful summer! While it may still feel like the middle of the growing season, now is actually the perfect time to start planning your fall garden.

I'm excited to announce Fall Gardening 101, a beginner-friendly workshop designed to help you make the most of the fall growing season. Whether you're new to gardening or have been growing for years, you'll learn what vegetables, herbs, and flowers thrive in the fall, along with practical tips to help you enjoy a successful harvest.

The workshop is perfect for anyone gardening in a backyard, raised bed, or even a few containers on a patio or balcony.

Following the class, there will be a Basil Family Farm plant sale, giving you the opportunity to purchase locally grown fall seedlings and put what you've learned into practice the very same day.

Here are the dates of the FREE classes;

Wednesday, August 26, 6 pm - 7:30 pm

@Hairston Crossing Library

Wednesday, September 2, 6 pm to 7:30 pm

@ County Line-Ellenwood Library

Saturday, September 12, 2 pm-3:30 pm

@Scott Candler Library

You don’t have to attend the workshops to purchase your plants, we’re currently taking pre-orders. Check out what we are currently growing. Click the link below

Thank you all for supporting your local farm 🫶🏽

Respectfully,

Ashley King
